Build a Pre-requisite Program

Prior to developing a HACCP plan, a food processor must develop written prerequisite programs that meet all regulatory and program requirements.

The prerequisite program generic model was developed by the Canadian food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for establishments to use as a template when developing prerequisite programs defined in the Food Safety Enhancement Program Manual, section 3.1.
